Dr. Jose A. Rivero

Board Certified Dentist Anesthesiologist

After earning his doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) and a brief term practicing in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr Rivero was accepted into a prestigious post-doctoral program studying Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. Once completed, he received advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship and then completed a 3 year Anesthesiology residency program at Jacobi Medical Center - Albert Einstein School of Medicine, a level 1 trauma center, where he treated patients ranging from routine surgical procedures to life-saving trauma cases. In 2019, Dr. Rivero became board certified by the American of Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ABDA) the highest accreditation for Anesthesia in Dentistry.
